A book to be savored

This is an intriguing, multimedia glimpse into various modern paths toward wisdom. The art is intriguing, and although I didn't watch any of the videos (I'm just not a video person), I suspect they also added depth to the text. Finally, there are the hands-on exercises that bring what you've learned into the truly personal sphere.
The really powerful part, though, was the several different points of view, one of which will likely present a perspective that speaks to you. There's an Indian-Kenyan-English searcher for truth, a Rabbi who has lived on three continents, and an anthropologist intrigued by the human life cycle. And that's just in the first "pillar" (chapter) of seven!
Overall, this is a resonant text that is best savored slowly. Settle in, relax, and enjoy the ride.
